Chicwish Skirt :: H&M Crop Top :: Chinese Laundry Pumps :: YSL Clutch
Cheerio Lovelies! London, Oh London is a place I’ve not traveled to as yet, however, I can’t wait to jet-set there this year! However, I know once I reach, it’ll be love at first sight and might just steal my #1 and favorite destination spot in Europe from Paris. In the meantime, I’m loving the London street scene on this skirt, and I can only imagine that London in real life is just as gorgeous, if not more than. This skirt makes me want to walk the streets of London, take a cliché picture in a red telephone booth, and embark on adventures by venturing on a hop-on/hop-off bus. The artistry of the print reminds me of the Chicwish skirt I wore recently (see here); the street scene is faded in black and white, while remnants of London stand out in bold red. Not sure how my fellow Americans feel about me prancing around in UK attire, but they’ll just have to accept that my wardrobe pieces are “culturally diversed,” literally!
I thought by now I would be over wearing these printed skirts, but there always seems to be one that catches my eye which creates a challenge in talking myself out of not purchasing another one. The downfall of these beauties, especially this “Oh London” midi, is that I won’t get much wearing out if it. Sure, I’ll be able to wear it a few times here and there, but how many times am I really going to wear the same distinctive, printed skirt over and over again. Truth is, not very many times. This is the rationale I use when I attempt to talk myself out of adding yet another one to my collection, but when their gifted or not priced very high, how is that even convincing, lol? Paring these midi skirts are easy peasy which is why I also love how effortless it is to make them look fab! Although from time to time I get a little creative, more times than not, I resort to simplicity by pairing a printed midi with a solid crop top and pumps.
