Masker Aide

Hey Lovelies! All the Masker Aide products I’ve used over the last month are given two thumbs up! You often here that great skin comes from within! Sure this comes from frequenting a grand diet daily and saturating your body with tons of H2O, but with those important essentials also come skin care which is just as vital. If I’m being 100% honest, my diet is ok and could significantly improve, and I could totally drink a lot more water daily. The one thing I rely on to make up for my shortcomings is good skin care products.

A little background on me –  my skin is primarily oily and I’ve battled acne since 14 years old and  I can’t say that I’ve entirely outgrown it in adulthood, but I am thankful it is under control for the most part. Nevertheless, it’s definitely imperative for someone like me (who wears make up often) and needs a clear face for blogging to have skin care routines and products that get the job done and get it done well. With that said, I’ve tried a gazillion products in my lifetime from drugstore to prescription to any and everything in between and the one thing I notice is that my skin becomes super immune to products and they eventually stop working (not in my mind, this definitely happens quite often to me). The great thing is that I always get lucky and stumble upon new products that work to my advantage. I recently paired up with Masker Aide, a brand from Canada that focuses on lifestyle-based products. I was pretty excited to try this brand because I was able to easily incorporate their products into my existing beauty regime. Because I’m currently obsessed with using natural products on my skin, this is retrospect was the perfect collaboration for me because I didn’t have to veer away from what’s presently working for me.

I didn’t see any harm in using a product like Masker Aide’s “SPOTTED” which is anti-blemish clear spot patch that been helping minimize, detoxify, and calm my pimples. During that “time of the month” especially, I tend to break out more often and the older I get, the more I see little unwelcome guests pop up around this time, UGH! This product literally worked to rid me from unwanted acne during those few days. I used it twice before noticing the excess oil and redness from my blemishes completely vanish. I love how easy “SPOTTED” is to use – peel off and place on my breakouts while still have the luxury to use my all natural face wash, cleanser, toner, mask, and moisturizer. I’ve also been using Masker Aide’s bamboo charcoal Konjac sponge. I’ve been using this little guy as a prep and cleasne before masking. I also want to take note that this way of cleansing help me gently exfoliate my own skin before I mask. I love this sponge-ish tool because it’s perfect for skin like mine – acne prone. The activated bamboo charcoal helps combat excess oil, blackheads, whiteheads, while the natural konjac cleanses and exfoliates my skin. Like Maker Aide’s Spotted, this product is also super easy to use, all I need to do is add water and I’m ready to get clean and refreshed instantaneously. As a result, my skin since using both of these products has been a lot less oily!  If you haven’t as yet, please check out these products. I wouldn’t steer you wrongly or promote a product I didn’t personally believe in! If you just so happen to check them out, please do not hesitate to share your experience with me!
