“Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone – we find it with another.” – Thomas Merton

Spreading love is one of my absolute favorite things to do so I’m excited for the overload of pink, red, white, and all the color variations in between that will flood our timeline since that’s the “Valentine’s Day” thing to do.

There’s always an overwhelming amount of “feel good” that comes along with giving back to others, in addition to making the world that much of a better place to live in. Personally, I 1,000% never give for a motive other than it being what I think is the right thing to do. When I think of ways I can assist other people, it stops right there. Over the years I’ve learned that giving is something you do because you simply want to, not for any other reason beyond to help; not to gain something in return, expect something back, talk about what you did, hold over someone’s head, etc. What I can also attest to is that what you give may not always come back which is why it always important to give for the right reasons, because you want to, and/or because it feels like the right thing to do.

I recently read that studies have shown that a person who holds some kind of spiritual belief that emphasizes goodness, love, kindness, and sharing with others feels happier and lives a more fulfilled, healthier, and longer life! SO…. why wouldn’t anyone want to be a giver like 1,000,000% of the time?

Anyone else excited to see Valentine’s Day inspired outfits?

Or maybe that’s just me, lol! ❤️🤍💖

Since the LOVE DAY IS LOADING, I wanted to pay a little homage to the good ole faithful themed colors. This year, I might deviate a little and remix the colors like I did this past Christmas (see here). It can sometimes be a challenge to wear something different each year when the holiday’s theme is always the same colors. Remixing holiday colors allows me channel my creativity and has secretly become a favorite pastime of mine. Plus, I think I’ve collected just about every red heart-shaped purse known to man lol, so this year I am yearning to think more outside the box –  making Valentine’s Day a little more on the sweeter side. STAY TUNEND!

For now, let’s get into this knitted matching set I scored from H&M two years ago. Certainly didn’t want it to go to waste and knew I could use for multiple occasions sooner or later. Rummaged a little through my pumps and decided  these oldie-but-goodies should come out to play. Like I always say, get the pieces that make statements, you never know when you’ll actually need them. Plus, if you’re a matchy matchy girl like me, you’ll keep almost everything (without becoming too much of a clutter bug of course). Truth is you’ll never know when you might need those shoes you bought a few years back!

Peace and Forever Blessings,
