Asos Co-ords Set | Simi Sandals | Sophia Webster Crossbody
Hey Lovelies! Hope you don’t mind little “Floral & Leopard” in today’s rotation! Let’s get right to it, shall we?!? I’m sure a lot you can relate, but the beginning of spring personally never fails me because I always have wardrobe pieces from the previous season that somehow get neglected. When I luck up with a season leftover like this Floral & Jacquard co-ord, I become super elated because it almost appears like this particular piece belongs in this current season. Now granted the material of this two-piece is jacquard, a heavier material that is most appropriate for the winter season, but I’m really grateful these spring days have not been anywhere near scorching hot. In fact, the gloomy spring days have been a lot cooler so I wasn’t the slightest uncomfortable wearing this set. I really love the chicness of this Floral & Jacquard jogger set especially because of its ability to be dressed up. The material is pretty amazing and of course I’m sure y’all could have guess that I’m pretty obsessed with the color pattern. On another note, I figured it might have been a little bit of a challenge to find either a matching gold or pink tone shoe to pair with this set (since both of these hues are a little odd in this pattern); so instead of running across town like a mad woman, I decided to dig out these velvet sandals from Simi Shoes past summer collection. Now I know the pink isn’t quite the perfect match and is a tad bit off but that’s ok, I just went with it. I ran across my Sophia Webster “Miss Thang” cross body the other day and couldn’t resist putting this in my spring rotation again. I could never see myself disposing of or giving away any of my brilliant bubble bags. Not quite a perfect match for this floral & jacquard set either, but I decided to add it to my look and I’m so glad I did because I love the way it non matches/matches. If nothing else, it definitely sets the tone of me owning the MISS THANG attitude for this look. I mean, I’m serving face in some of this flicks! LOL!
