House of Chic coat :: Oldnavy jeans :: Sophia Webster sandals :: Charlotte Olympia clutch

Hey Lovelies! I can’t believe Los Angeles actually has winter weather this year! The chill has been real so I’m kinda glad I get to skip town for a bit. Living in Los Angeles all my life has deprived me of truly experiencing seasons. But, this year is nothing like previous years, my outwear has actually been getting some use! Nonetheless, cold weather doesn’t necessarily mean your looks have to become dull and boring. For example, this denim & fur eye-catching coat features denim, faux suede panels, and the long dolman sleeves are covered in faux fur. To describe this oversized piece as cozy is an understatement, however it definitely makes a statement of its own! I thought I’d play it up a bit by paring semi-matching patchwork denim jeans with it (these are super comfortable btw). To add a little more jazz to my look, I paired my edgy Sophia Webster sandals and Charlotte Olympia clutch for the “pop”! Nothing really matches here but it all somehow compliments another which is always my priority anyway; well that and staying chic but keeping warm!

I mentioned earlier that I was glad I was skipping town for a bit, but come to think of it, I actually don’t mind the cold. I know Los Angeles is probably going to see a winter like never before with weather conditions ranging from cold, frigid, and frosty. When I think about it, this is pretty exciting because I never really get to blog winter looks. So I’m looking forward to do that. This is also going to force me to rearrange my closet and put my outerwear, headgear, and gloves closer in reach so that these items can be apart of my daily rotation!
