The It Girls Closet :: Lola Shoetique sandals :: Aldo clutch :: Quay Sunnies

Happy First Day of October Lovebugs! Since its 80 degrees here in Los Angeles today, I figured I’d  take advantage of this gorgeous sunny weather and wear some of my summer’s leftovers! The owner from THE IT GIRLS CLOSET gifted me with this fun summer romper awhile back, however, the weather rarely permitted for long sleeves this summer. I mean even Los Angeles summer evenings and nights were blazing! However, now that Autumn is here and we at least have a little breeze  to accompany our higher temperatures, I wanted to take advantage and wear this cutesy little blue & white polka dots romper. It originally came with belt loops and and a brown belt, but I had the hardest time trying to find the perfect color shoes and accessories to match. Being the fashion designer I am (at heart that is, lol), I cut the loops out and decided to pair this romper with white. Yeah yeah, I know the ‘NO WHITE AFTER LABOR DAY” rule, but I couldn’t resist popping this look with all white everythang! I found these single sole sandals from Lola Shoetique the other day, I was completely smitten because they reminded me so much of my Giuseppe Zanotti’s. Although, the sandals shown above were a lot less expensive, interestingly enough, they were actually a lot more comfortable.

On another note, can we just talk polka dots really quick?!? Not sure how you guys feel about polka dots or polka dot prints, but I think its such a timeless print!! I loveeeeeee polka dots. This may very well be my favorite print second to floral. I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve always thought of polka dots as a timeless print. It never gets old and you see the print constantly recycled in fashion trends throughout the years. Now, you won’t catch me wearing this print everyday, but I ‘ll wear the print in moderation. If you’re wanting to mix two different prints and are struggling with what two prints to pair together, try mixing any random print with polka dots! Thank me later! =)
